Readiness Assessment

The Export Readiness Assessment is a tool designed to help you better understand your readiness to begin or expand your exporting activities.  The assessment covers the four most critical areas of: Market, Product, Operations and Finance.  Trade Specialists may request that you take the Assessment prior to scheduling an initial advising session with them.  This assessment is designed to give you and the Trade Specialist substantially more information at the beginning of your advising relationship which can make a substantial difference in jump-starting the advisor's ability to add value on the first visit.

You will be requested to give basic contact information that will allow the Assessment results to be sent to your email.  The results will also be forwarded to the Export Readiness Center that will be serving you.  This allows the trade specialist or business advisor to review the information and determine any appropriate research or other preparation that would be helpful for your first advising session. All information supplied in the Assessment will be kept completely confidential and not released to anyone outside of the SBDC without your written permission.

If you are not a Washington State business you will not be contacted by a Washington Trade Specialist.  The assessment will still be sent to your email and you will then need to send it to a local SBDC Trade Specialist or advisor for export assistance.
